NEW YORK (AP) Jennifer Lawrence has starred in “The Hunger Game: Caught Fire,” and she’s excited to star in it.
The actress tweeted that she was excited to be part of the film’s cast.
The Hunger Games sequel opens this weekend in theaters.
In the film, Lawrence plays Liv, a teenager who is captured by the military as a prisoner in an escape plan.
She’s forced to fight off the military’s efforts to rescue her and her fellow escapees.
Liv is reunited with her friends, the girls Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Matt Damon), and their captors, who have captured her.
The film stars Matthew McConaughey, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Aidan Gillen, Josh Brolin, Emily Blunt, Jack Dylan Grazer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Michael Peña.
