An article by James Taylor has been trending on social media.
A young woman who is about to become a mother has become the target of a vile attack from a misogynistic man who calls her “fat”.
The man also tells the young mother she’s going to lose weight if she don’t have children.
He says: “If you don’t start having kids, you’re going to look fat, you’ll look ugly, you don ‘t belong here”.
The woman, whose identity has not been released, responded on Facebook with: “That’s the kind of person I am.
That is the kind that thinks it’s ok to treat women like shit.”
The post has been shared more than 5,000 times and received thousands of comments.
The comments section on the post has also been flooded with comments, some saying they were “disgusted”.
“It’s disgusting, how dare you make a fat woman look like that,” said one user.
Another user said: “What an ugly man, this is the type of person that thinks he is entitled to treat a woman like shit.
You don’t belong here.
You do not deserve a life like this.”
“He’s called her fat and he wants to get a hold of her,” wrote another user.
“If she’s not fat, he should just give her a fat sack of chips.”
“How dare you treat a girl like that.
That’s what you’re doing to her,” said another user, who also added that she was going to “stop caring”.
“She’s a beautiful woman and she deserves a life of happiness,” she added.
One person commented: “He is an absolute disgrace and an embarrassment to his country.
Another user wrote: “Don’t you want to be good for your country?” “
I don’t want to live in a country where you can call a woman fat just because you think she looks like a bit of a mess.”
